Hi, Well this is it, my first attempt at blogging.
I suspect this will not only be the first attempt but, as with so many things, it won't get updated and the next time I see it will be in a few years time when somebody else stumbles across it and says 'I found your blog'.
If and when that happens I may update it.
When what's happening in my life at the moment, and what am I looking forward to ?

Workwise I'm back working at the South London Press doing magic with IT. Things aren't looking to good at the moment with the recession and we are all looking at ways to save money (jobs).
This is such a shame as we were looking great only a year ago and expected to invest in some money into upgrading our aging editorial system.
I've put a proposal in to do some emergency repairs to the system (i.e. upgrade from Windows 98 and Quark 3). - yes there are still users in the civilised west.
I really don't think there's a cat in hells chance of getting it but at least it may put the project on a back burner.
There's lots to keep us busy at the moment and coming back to a company that has far too few support staff I'm certainly learning a lot of stuff that previously 'someone else' did. SEP is no longer in the dictionary so no point in explaining it.
Do miss the atmosphere and camaraderie of the old Reigate office, still we keep in touch and have even had a meal out in the evening. That was hard enough to get even when we worked together.

Family - Jasmine busy rehearsing for a dance show at the Hawth in Crawley. (end of March) and has just finished helping out at the half term drama workshop at the Horsham Capitol theatre.
She really is keen to find a career as an actress or in the industry. Good luck to her I only hope she does well in her other exams so that she has something to fall back on.
Adam has just got back from Andorra where he spent a week Snowboarding with Amy - no he didn't slide down the mountain on Amy (or did he) but she went with him and did Skiing instead.
Maybe he will now spend all his money on Snowboarding instead of his beloved car !.
We're off to Teddington Studios on 28th February to watch 'Big Top' being recorded. We've been to see a few shows being recorded recently, it's good for Jasmine to see what goes on if she's going to join the industry and it's a good night for us.
First holiday of the year fast approaching. We're going to California again on 4th April.
Already we've been stitched up by the french (spits in disgust) we booked a direct flight from Heathrow to LA ages ago on Air france but they have now decided that they are dropping that route and we now have to go via Paris both ways. It was this or they would generously refund our money.
As the prices have now gone up we had no choice but to accept there generous offer of a longer flight, the stress of a changeover (1 hour between flights) for the same price. Not even a free upgrade. Well make the most of it froggies, we won't use you again !
Anyway when we do get there we are looking forward to spending days in LA and San Diego and haven't given anyone enough info of locations of the hotels for them to follow us. - you know who you are !!!!
We're looking forward to the Zoo, Wild Animal park, Seaworld etc but I shall try and avoid that ski lift at San Diego Zoo
Mmmm thinks .... Hard Rock Cafe, Taco Bell, Katella Grill, California Pizza Kitchen, The Cheesecake Factory and not forgetting Bubba Gumps... you can see a pattern here.
Car is already hired and paid for - a big one so just hope we can afford the 'gas'.
We shall avoid that god awful Disney and skip Universal (been there done that ) in favour of some of the other Studios this year .
First week hectic then a week flopping on the beaches if it's warm enough.

Hey, This is quite good, maybe I'll write to myself again soon !!!!!
